Coldplay Plan To Release 'Everyday Life' Follow-Up 'As Soon As Possible'
Coldplay haven't even released their upcoming album Everyday Life yet, and they're apparently already planning its follow-up. Mark Mitchell — co-president of the band's record label Parlophone — recently hinted that Chris Martin and company are already hard at work on more new music. “There’s nothing set in stone, but what we can say is there’s a desire to do another record to follow this up quickly,” he divulged. “[‘Everyday Life’] came very, very quickly. They worked on tracks for the rest of the summer, so there’s a lot of ideas left off this record which they’re hoping to follow up as soon as possible.” Though they hope to release more material sooner rather than later, don't expect the next one to be connected to Everyday Life. “I don’t think they are sister records. This is very much a record that the band had to get out of their system," Parlophone co-president Nick Burgess said. Everyday Life is slated to come out this Friday (November 22). The 16-track, double album is divided into two sections: sunrise and sunset
