The Baby hitmaker and Hailey split in 2016, but they were seen getting cozy in Miami. In one picture published online, Hailey is seen helping Justin dry off on the balcony of their hotel room, and according to Us Weekly sources, the couple was spotted together at a VOUS church conference and dinner at Casa Tua and the LIV nightclub on Saturday (09Jun18) night. "(They) were being very flirty and dancing on each other (while) holding hands," a source tells the magazine. "Justin (put) his arm around Hailey throughout the night. (They) didn't shy away from the crowd or onlookers." The 24-year-old and Hailey's vacation comes a month after the model was linked to another Canadian singer - Shawn Mendes. She denied the romance rumors in May (18), insisting the Stitches singer was "super-lovely" but she was "single" following a reported date night at the Met Gala. She recently revealed she had become friends with Justin again. "Justin and I were friends for a long time," she told The Sunday Times. "I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everybody knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you're 18, 19. It was what it was. "We went through a long period of time when we weren't friends. We didn't speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. We've moved past that... We just work much better as friends. He's somebody I really cherish. Now it's a very mature situation. It's good." Meanwhile, Justin was most recently linked to his on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez, but they split in May.
Tragic DJ Avicii's death certificate has reportedly been released. The electronic dance music superstar, real name Tim Bergling, died in Oman in April (18). At the time of his passing, Avicii's cause of death was not announced and according to TMZ it is not listed on his death certificate. His name and date of birth have also been redacted on the death certificate, but editors at the website report it does belong to Avicii. "Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions," a statement read. "An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most - music. He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness." "He could not go on any longer," the statement continued. "He wanted to find peace. Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight..." According to reports, Bergling suffered from health issues related to excessive drinking, and had his gall bladder and appendix removed in 2014. Medical officials reportedly conducted two post-mortem examinations and Oman police officers have stated there is "no criminal suspicion" surrounding his death.
Priyanka Chopra has apologized after her TV show Quantico featured a controversial storyline about Indian terrorists. The episode, titled The Blood of Romeo, saw Chopra’s FBI agent Alex Parrish thwarting a terrorist attack on an international summit in New York by Indian nationalists, who stole weaponized uranium and sought to blame the planned violence on Pakistan. Fans were horrified that the show fictionalized the real-life historical tension between the two countries just days before a real-life summit between India and Pakistan in China. Chopra was targeted by viewers who criticised her for going along with the storyline, especially as she is of Indian descent. “I’m extremely saddened and sorry that some sentiments have been hurt by a recent episode of Quantico,” Chopra posted on Twitter on Saturday (09Jun18). “That was not and would never be my intention. I sincerely apologize. I’m a proud Indian and that will never change.” ABC, the network behind the show, also offered an apology for the content of the episode, that aired on 1 June. “(We) and the executive producers of Quantico would like to extend an apology to our audience who were offended by the most recent episode, The Blood of Romeo,” they said in a statement. “The episode has stirred a lot of emotion, much of which is unfairly aimed at Priyanka Chopra, who didn’t create the show, nor does she write or direct it. She has no involvement in the casting of the show or the storylines depicted in the series.” The network’s statement concluded: “Quantico is a work of fiction. The show has featured antagonists of many different ethnicities and backgrounds, but in this case we inadvertently and regrettably stepped into a complex political issue. It was certainly not our intention to offend anyone.” Quantico, which was canceled by ABC last month (May18), will come to an end after its current third season.
